Our Critical Care Scientists (CCS) specialise in the use of technology and physiology to support the care of critically ill patients in intensive care units. They work as part of a multi-professional team, providing expert knowledge on life support systems and therapeutic interventions. Their role includes advising on the safe and effective use of medical devices and providing scientific expertise across various areas of patient care in the ICU setting, and they assist all four of our transport teams to make sure our equipment and devices are always working safely and effectively.
