An Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) is a registered nurse with advanced education and training who provides specialized care for patients during inter-facility transfers. In September 2020, Lynsey and Heather joined the team to begin their 3 year trainee post within NISTAR, carrying out their training in the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and have since qualified. The ANPs make up a vital component of the Transport Service and enhance the experience for the children we transfer.
