Following graduation from the University of Edinburgh in 2004, I trained in paediatrics in both the East and West of Scotland, before returning home to Belfast in 2012 to complete my specialist training in neonatology. I was appointed as a neonatal consultant in the Royal Maternity Hospital, Belfast in 2016.
Besides neonatal transport, I have a keen interest in quality improvement and patient safety, and am a Scottish Quality and Safety Fellow.
