Dr Andrew Topping (MB Bch FCARCSI MRCA AFICM DipMedEd) is a Consultant anaesthetist and a NI HEMS doctor and is the current “Airway Lead” for the HEMS service. He has a keen interest in retrieval medicine and co-leads a successful SIMSTAR course for nurses, doctors and clinicians involved in time critical transfers. He trained in both Northern Ireland and Australia. He has 3 kids and a wife with a good sense of humour. In his spare time, he enjoys running and mountaineering.
